The photo above is the before and after of the main body of a scope mount from Spuhr's ISMS (Ideal Scope Mount System) made from 7075 T651 aluminum alloy. Not shown are the separate top clamps which screw into the holes seen on the mount.
The mount only needs quality checking and anodizing, which can come in a variety of colours for a customer to choose from.
